A Gentle Spirit
In memory of Dustin Leighton Riddell
A kind and gentle spirit
Posing as a child
Drifted close beside us
And hovered there a while.
The spirit's light shone brightly
And held a dimpled grin.
It stretched its arms around us
And let our love walk in.
But sunset came so quickly
Its bright light dimmed to dark.
The soft and tender spirit
Now lives within our hearts.
