May 10 found us at Green Hill Cemetery in Greensboro for the rededication of the Confederate monument Confederate Memorial Day services sponsored by the Guilford Chapter of the UDC.

A few days later, on May 15, we were in Reidsville for the Confederate Memorial service hosted by the Rockingham County UDC. Rain or shine, the service goes on. The sun came out in time for the infantry and artillery salutes.
